Welcome to Hypershade!
I'm Jamie DeRuyter, 3D artist and teacher. Hypershade is where you will find my most recent resume' and demo reel. You will need at least Quicktime 4

There are some fresh cuts in the gallery including new stuff and work pulled from deep in the archives.
Currently I am an instructor at Ringling School of Art and Design. Teaching 3D animation and Concept Development to America's 'eager young minds' has been quite the challange but the hard work and dedication of the students makes it all worth while!
Last year I had the thrill of working on an attraction for Universal studios. Under the supervision of Stan Johnson at The Pixel Factory, myself and a handful of great 3D artists created several minutes of Hi-Def 3D effects for both the Orlando and Hollywood locations.
